      Lord, you know better than I what is ahead.

      Go before me to show the right way,

      Let me see and meet you in all people and situarions

      and more importantly,

      Let all people see you in my life and conduct,

      Anoint me with your Holy Spirit,

      So I will know what to say and do,

      You accept me as I am, but you never leave me there.

      It may seen that I have ;et go of you at times;

      Than you for never letting go of me.

      I commit my life to you and anticipate with joy

      The gifts of love you have prepared for me long before I even ask.

      Thank you for taking care of all my tomorrows.

      I praise you, Father, for this day's opportunities

      To show your love through my life.

      In Christ's name and power, Amen.

      Great God, 

      your mercy is an unexpected miracle.      

     Help us to believe and obey,

     that we may be filled with the wine of new life,

     promised in the power of Jesus Christ our Savior,

     who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

    one God, now and forever.  Amen.

    Eternal God,

    at the baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan

    you proclaimed him your beloved Son,

    and anointed him with the Holy Spirit.

    Grant that all who are baptized into his name

    may keep the covenant they have made,

    and boldly confess him as Lord and Savior;

    who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns,

    one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
